Challenge Walks

The nature of a challenge is relative! What is a challenge to one person is a very easy thing for another. At Mind and Body Walking we do Challenge Walks differently. We recognise that everyone wants a challenge and it is not always about going longer and faster. There are many organisations offering these types of events, which are fantastic, but we are different. Our challenges are not about the fastest or the longest but are about personal challenge. What is a personal challenge to you? What do you want to achieve? We want to help you get there, whatever your circumstances. 

Mind and Body Walking also places great emphasis on all of our personal challenge walks connecting with nature – and yes this can be in the countryside AND in towns and cities. 

We offer general challenges, that are relatively easily attainable for people with some walking experience – for example the Leicestershire Three Peaks which is a 16 mile walk around Leicestershire’s countryside. However, this is NOT a race and it’s not timed. The focus is on supporting you to complete the distance and enjoying the experience. Our general challenges are not route marches.

Then for people looking for their own challenge we can build a bespoke activity around you – we have a large network of qualified walk leaders, many of whom have medical backgrounds, who love supporting people on their own personal journey – whether that is climbing a mountain or completing a 10 mile walk. Whatever your challenge we are supportive, professional and friendly and will help you achieve.
