“The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it.

Our Environment

ind and Body Walking really does care passionately about our environment and actively encourages a connection with nature with each and every one of our activities. We do walk the talk and try to operate our organisation in as low carbon way as much as we can. We put back into the environments we operate in and encourage others to do the same. For the most part the countryside is our office – we consider ourselves to be extremely lucky in this regard and as such as follow The Countryside Code

The Countryside Code

We have a deep respect for The Countryside Code and follow it to the letter.  The key elements of this are:

Protect the environment – take litter home, leave no trace, no fires, only BBQs where it’s allowed,  keep dogs under control and in sight, bag and bin dog poo, do not damage or disturb nature

Respect everyone – be considerate to those living and working in the countryside, leave gates as you find them, do not block access to gates or drives with your car, be nice and say hello and follow local signs and access to marked paths unless wider access granted.

Enjoy the outdoors – check your route and local conditions, plan your day, anticipate what you will expect, enjoy your time and make good memories.
