Navigation Training
Would you like the skills to be able to plan a walk and navigate your way around?
Most people would love to be able to plan their own walking routes and have the confidence to navigate around the route themselves. This is entirely possible and the team at Mind and Body Walking loves to train people to do just that!
Imagine the freedom of holding a map in your hands and being able to set off, on your own, confident that you will be able to find your way with skills to know that you won’t get lost.
We provide a robust, fun set of training courses to give you the skills you need, whether you want to plan a 6 mile route close to home or set off confidently along a national trail such as the West Highland Way.
All our courses are run by professional qualified, friendly professionals who love helping you to succeed. Our events are informative and fun with the added benefit of connecting you with nature at the same time! And you can either just do our informal courses which will give you the skills or go for the National Navigation Awards which we offer so you have a certificate to demonstrate your competence.
Our current courses are:
- Introduction to navigation 1 or 2 day
- Bronze National Navigation Award Scheme (NNAS) Award 2 days
- Intermediate navigation skills 1 or 2 days
- Silver National Navigation Award (NNAS) Award 2 days
