Are you a qualified walk leader with a passion for nature connectivity?

The team at Mind and Body Walking is always looking for exemplary people to join our team. We do have some specific qualities that we look for to ensure that our clients have the best time.  So if you have the following skills sets, qualifications and paperwork, and are interested in finding out more then please do get in touch, we would love to hear from you:

• Walk leader qualification – as a minimum we look for people with the Lowland Leader Award or other similar level qualifications.
• DLOG – we look for people who maintain their DLOG, even after qualifying. This shows a commitment to ongoing learning.
• Outdoor First Aid Level 3 as a minimum, and this needs to current.
• NNAS Award Certificates including the Tutor Award – if you want to teach on our navigation courses.
• DBS Check – we need to see the paper original copy of your DBS.
• Nature knowledge and enthusiasm and you must love sharing this with others.
• Self aware, exemplary interpersonal skills and committed to your own personal development
• Friendly, warm personality who enjoys being with people.
• Able to manage challenging situations and demonstrate adaptable leadership styles.
• Insurance – Mind and Body Walking does carry comprehensive insurance for all of our activities. However, we do expect all of our team to also have their own insurance as regular freelancers in the industry.
• Policies, procedures, risk assessments and health and safety – safety of our guests and team is our highest priority on any of our activities. We expect our team to be appraised of our documentation and know what they should do in the event of an incident.
• Delivering quality – do you want to make sure everyone has a great time?

We are also interested in hearing from qualified walk leaders who have ICF, EMCC or ILM Professional Coaching qualifications. 

Remuneration

Our team are all freelancers. We aim to pay amongst the highest rates in the industry, we recognise that we are only as good as the team we have around us and treat you as a valuable part of the organisation. The remuneration rate will vary from job to job and will reflect the various differing requirements. We will advise you of the rate for the job at the time of booking.
