Mind and Body Walking Collaborates with the Federation of Small Business and The National Forest
The team at Mind and Body Walking are delighted to be collaborating with The Federation of Small Businesses and The National Forest on a Netwalking and Business Growth event at Conkers Waterside in the heart of The National Forest in 10th June 2025.
Businesses from across the Midlands will meet at 09.30 for this unique event, set within the inspiring surroundings of Conkers and the National Forest. This event is designed to bring together business owners, self-employed professionals from the FSB network, and the National Forest’s own corporate partners to connect and talk business while surrounded by nature.
Agenda:
9:30am Arrivals, teas and coffees and open networking
10am Welcome and round the room introductions, including brief presentations from:
- Jennifer Thomas – Small Business support update from the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB)
- Chris Ward – Welcome to The National Forest
- Katy Draper – The business benefits of walking in, and connecting to nature
10:30am Netwalking briefing, into groups and business question set for walk discussion.
10:45am Netwalking sets off into the National Forest trail.
12pm Return to base for final group photo and thanks.
After initial networking and introductions, we’ll take the conversation outdoors; business coach and qualified walking guide Katy Draper will provide a topical business / nature connection question for discussion over a guided netwalking session—an hour-long walk through the Conkers countryside, where you can build connections and discuss ideas and challenges in a relaxed and energizing setting.
Whether you’re looking to expand your network, gain fresh business insights, or simply step away from the office for an inspiring morning, this event offers the perfect blend of professional development and wellbeing.
